ABOUT FIRST COLLECTION
Our First Collection
(a.k.a. how we turned one weird fabric into 30+ pieces)
Every brand has its “first drop” moment – and this one’s ours. We wanted to make it count, and also kind of prove to ourselves that we can actually finish something. Spoiler: we did.
This collection was built around two main ideas:
1. The Logo Era
We knew we had to start with something classic – the kind of logo pieces no brand should skip in its first collection. Think clean prints, wearable cuts, and logos front and center.
But here's the twist: we’re not planning to use our logo like this forever. So if you like it pure and simple, now’s the time – in future drops, we’ll be playing around with it a lot more subtly (and probably more weirdly).
2. One Fabric to Rule Them All
The real star of this collection? A fabric we stumbled upon completely by accident in a random wholesale shop in Prague.
It instantly gave us major urban ghillie suit vibes – you know, like camo, but for city kids who listen to ambient techno. No actual camouflage pattern, but the texture? Chef’s kiss. It had a vibe, and we couldn’t ignore it. So we made it the foundation of the whole collection.
Here’s how this one fabric found its way into almost everything:
-
If it’s not sewn from it, it’s printed with it. On our hand-painted pieces, we literally used the fabric as a stamp – soaked it in screenprinting ink and pressed it onto garments to create a random, grungy pattern.
-
On the “digi pattern” pieces, we scanned the fabric, filtered the hell out of it in Photoshop, and turned it into a digital texture that now lives inside our logo. That’s right – the logo is the fabric. Meta, huh?
-
Even our ceramics got in on the action. We used scraps of the fabric to apply glaze textures, creating a subtle imprint in white gloss. Like pottery meets streetwear. Kinda.
Basically, unless you’re holding one of the few clean logo pieces, you’re holding something that came from that fabric. That was our lowkey experiment – to see if one random material could connect a whole collection, even if it doesn’t scream it from every piece. Spoiler #2: it totally can.
The result? Over 30 pieces – our biggest milestone so far. Not bad for a first try.
Now it’s your turn. Let us know if we pulled it off. Wear it, love it (or roast it, if you must). Either way, thank you for being here. We really, really appreciate the support.
